WILDLIFE VIEWING
The Gulf Islands abound with wildlife above, on and under the waters. For the Bird Watcher the skies are alive with Bald Eagles, Terns and numerous species of Gulls. As the Marbled Murrelet, Mallard, Black Brant and Canada Goose swim serenely past you can watch the stately Great Blue Heron catch it's lunch while Oyster Catchers and Killdeer scurry along the shore. If Mammals are your thing, you can watch Seals teaching their pups to fish or giant Sea Lions feeding on spawning Salmon. Let the playful Otters entertain you with their antics and feel the excitement as the Dall's Porpoise play in the bow wave. And of course no wildlife viewing experience can compare with the opportunity of Whale Watching.

WHALE WATCHING
B.C.'s coast is a Mecca for whale watching. The local waters are some of the best and most consistent areas for viewing the Orcas or "Killer Whale". The Gulf Islands are home to several pods of these sleek black and white sea mammals and there are few sights as spectacular as seeing one of these 25-30 foot whales breach, sometimes leaping right out of the water. But your whale watching experience may include the Gray Whale or reclusive Minke. Although there are no guarantees, our record of sightings is excellent.

BUTCHART GARDENS CRUISE
The Butchart Gardens are a truly world renowned destination. Our cruise includes a two-hour cruise down the tranquil Saanich Inlet to the private dock of these fabulous year-round gardens. Experience a tour of the gardens and then cruise back to the dock. You can even time your visit to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display. The Butchart Gardens are sure to delight the visitor.
